VICTORIA
RENOVATION

Inspired by mid-century architecture, this original house was built in 1977 and designed by Peter Mark-Brown. With its high cathedral ceiling and timber exterior, it posed a challenge to renovate without compromising its original character.

The entire interior was redesigned to complement the original timber features. Oak was used for the flooring and cabinetry, while white marble was introduced to infuse a modern aesthetic. Notably, the cabinetry was meticulously crafted with a vertical bone structure to add layers that reflected the articulation of the architectural features.

This renovation preserved the house's character while seamlessly integrating it with contemporary design elements, creating a harmonious blend of past and present.
